Bus spotting: send us your pictures

6.01.09 | Jon - Webmanager |

The buses are now starting to appear on the streets across the UK – have a look at the Google Map to see if there’s a bus near you. We’ve had confirmed sightings in London, York, Swansea and Oxford so far. If you’ve seen a bus please take a photo of it, and mail the photo to photos {at} atheistbus.org(.)uk

That’s exactly what Alan Perryman did, spotting the above banner on Route 149 in Southwark.

[UPDATE - Sheffield]
This picture from Sheffield has been mailed to us by Ian Anstey.

Well done. Let’s go even wider! Paint aeroplanes (lets see if people get scared, more publicity if they do ;-) ) Also, Better quality and nicer products declaring I’m athiest will be good.

How much of an atheist are you if you say “There’s PROBABLY no god”?. Saying PROBABLY incinuates that you’re not sure, in which case, you’re not a true atheist. There IS no god. This should read “There is no god. Now stop worrying…”. That really annoys me, spending that much money on a campaign against Christians, then screwing it all up by putting PROBABLY in the text. Oh the Christians will be proud. Kind of.

I have seen the advert on the 207 bus at Ealing Broadway. It certainly put a smile on my face!

Congratulations to everyone who is involved.

YOU MAY NOT BELIEVE IN GOD, BUT GOD ALWAYS BELIEVES IN YOU. NOW STOP WORRYING AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE.

I like that slogan better. Why not start a ‘theist bus’ campaign with the rest of the money?

    Cheers from Houston, TX

A great idea ! Vive l’Angleterre ! The stone age-”crap” and supersititon has killed enough innocent people on this planet (Al Qaeda pple are little angels in comparison with the Roman Catholics’ Inquisition…)! I have my doubts, but certainly none as concerns the right for my friends the atheists to air out their says.

What a brilliant idea! We need them even more badly in the U.S. as you can imagine. But there’s a lot more ground to cover and the bible thumpers tend to live in small towns without a whole lot of buses.
